Pastor Joseph Pruitt is an ordained minister and the co-founder of Restoration Family Life Church (RFLC). Commonly referred to as RFLC, the church is a growing, non-denominational, multicultural, full-gospel teaching ministry. The vision of the ministry is to Transform Lives, Equip Believers, Advance the Kingdom of God, and Press Toward the Mark (T.E.A.M.). Pastor Joe, or "PJ" as he is affectionately known by members, accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at a young age. Growing up in the church, he served in many capacities, including as a Deacon, before being called into the preaching ministry. In May 2005, Pastor Joe preached his first sermon. Prior to the founding of RFLC, Pastor Joe served as a minister under the leadership of his late father, Apostle Dr. Charlie Pruitt; his mother, Evangelist Dr. Dorothy D. Pruitt and his brother, Bishop Cedric W. Pruitt, at God's Worship Center Church in Lansing, Michigan. In November 2008, with assurance from God, Pastor Joe was licensed and ordained as a minister. On February 28, 2010, Pastor Joe and his wife, Lady Toya Pruitt, founded Restoration Family Life Church. Pastor Joe faithfully served as Pastor of RFLC from its inception. Pastor Joe and Lady Toya Pruitt, together with the church members, relaunched Restoration Family Life Church in the spring of 2026. Pastor Joe is a graduate of Northwood University in Midland, Michigan, where he played football for four years. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2000. In addition to his pastoral responsibilities, Pastor Joe is employed by General Motors. An avid photographer, he has served the Greater Lansing area for over 15 years, using his talent to capture memorable moments for individuals, families, and organizations. Pastor Joe and Lady Toya have been married for over 20 years and are the proud parents of two daughters: Gabrielle ("Gabby") and Raquel ("Rocki"). Pastor Joe is passionate about teaching the Word of God in a practical and applicable way that empowers individuals and families to live out their God-given purpose. His heart for ministry is centered on restoring families, making disciples, and equipping believers to make a meaningful impact in their homes, communities, and places of influence. He is a firm believer that every believer should develop and maintain a Kingdom mindset in every area of life. One of Pastor Joe's favorite scripture is Hebrews 6:13 (ESV): "For when God made a promise to Abraham, since he had no one greater by whom to swear, he swore by himself." This verse reflects Pastor Joe's unwavering belief in the faithfulness of God and the certainty of His promises. It serves as a source of encouragement and inspiration in his personal walk, leadership, and commitment to advancing the Kingdom of God through the teaching and preaching of God's Word Today, Pastor Joe continues to lead Restoration Family Life Church with faith, integrity, and a pastor's heart for God's people.
